The Circuit Builder Gizmo is easy… until the questions hit
The simulation? Easy.
Drag wires, connect stuff, bulbs light up. Cool.
Then the worksheet hits: "Explain the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance."
…and your brain just stops.
If that's you, you're not dumb — you just missed one thing.
Everything in this Gizmo is just: V = IR
Voltage = push Current = flow Resistance = blockage
That's it.
More voltage → more current More resistance → less current
Every question is just remixing this.
The part people mess up is series vs parallel.
Series: More bulbs → more resistance → dimmer
Parallel: More branches → less resistance → stays bright
Teachers don't want "what happened". They want "why it happened".
That's where most answers lose marks.
If you're even slightly unsure, don't risk it.
