It's 11pm and the Gravity Gizmo makes zero sense โ€” here's the shortcut

April 24, 2026 ยท Student Story

No judgment.

If you're here at 11pm trying to finish the Gravity Gizmo, same.

The part that confuses everyone:

"inversely proportional to the square of distance"

Sounds complicated. It's not.

It just means:

Double the distance โ†’ gravity becomes 4x weaker Triple โ†’ 9x weaker

That's it.

More mass = stronger pull More distance = way weaker pull

The orbit question?

A planet is basically falling toward the sunโ€ฆ but moving sideways fast enough to keep missing it.

That's an orbit.

Mass vs weight is also always on there.

Mass = doesn't change Weight = depends on gravity

Moon = 1/6 gravity โ†’ you weigh less

If you're about to submit and not fully sure,
